Mighty Warriors Three: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Review
What’s Up, Danger?! You’re listening to another elevated episode of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, this time a special review dedicated to critical and commercial darling Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse! Fresh off its Academy Award in for Best Animated Feature, Bry-Bry, the Marvelous Iggy, and Tazer all gather ‘round to sing the praises of this silver screen love letter to comic books! We talk about the good, the bad - is there any bad, honestly…? - and about the future of the franchise, in addition to ranking it among all of our favorite Spider-Man flicks. A shorter, more singular episode to be sure, but an overall positive one. A real change of pace, huh? Next time we’ll be taking on the cosmic arrival of Captain Marvel! So, until then, be sure to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review! Episode #290: With Well Wishes to JohnnyV (And Not Tom Brady)
Our second episode of 2019 is in the books, and as the Mad Quarterback Tom Brady gains control of his sixth Infinity Super Bowl Ring and looks to annihilate half of the world’s football fans, we try to squeeze another episode around that. Bry-Bry is back leading the charge with the Marvelous Iggy, Tazer, and Ol’ Man Whirlyburger surfaces as well - Jon Jon is back! We discuss the Big Game Spots for both Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame (Well, some of us do…), the rumored start of production on Black Widow and the odds of it being rated-R, the new Guardians of the Galaxy line-up and their odds of mainstream success, as well as the forthcoming Marvel exhibit at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia this April. Meanwhile, in reviews, Jon heralds the coming of Galactus in Fantastic Four #6, Iggy feels the unstoppable thrill of Unstoppable Wasp #4, Tazer makes us groan and roll our eyes when bad puns abound in Black Panther vs. Deadpool #4, and Bry-Bry ranks the adaptation of issue #1 of Wolverine: The Long Night! That’s our show for this week, folks! Remember to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review. And, we cannot stress this enough, congratulations to our dear friend and collaborator JohnnyV on his nuptials! Good luck, Johnny, and make sure your wife isn’t a clone or a Skrull or something like that…

Episode #289: Home Again, Home Again
Welcome to 2019, pillagers and shieldmaidens, and welcome to the first all-new episode of the Mighty Warrior Three Marvel Podcast of 2019! Did Oklahoma survive the new years celebrations that took place? We don't know, we haven't heard from Jon-Jon since. Still, we persevere! We're rejoined by founder and longtime host The Marvelous Iggy, a.k.a. Ben, who returns and hands the primary hosting reins (for now) to interim host Bry-Bry. Also, Tazer! We discuss the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, dissect the Disney-Fox deal and the implications for the established X-Men movie-verse, and also talk about the rumored Lady Sif show in development for the Disney+ app! Then, in reviews, the Warriors discuss the Book of the Week, Captain Marvel #1! In individual reviews, Ben reviews Uncanny X-Men #10 and catches us up on the state of the Marvel Universe (Spoiler: It all kind of went to hell...), Tazer tackles Infinity Wars: Infinity #1 as well as tries to tackle his general malaise, and Bry-Bry caps things off with Avengers #12! That’s our first new show of 2019! Remember to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review. Join us again next week, where maybe we review the cultural phenomenon that is Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - maybe...
