Episode #280: Danke Schoen, Ditko!
It’s episode #280! ...Or, is it? Oh, we don’t know - we’re forgetful. Anyway, this is the latest episode of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast! Our fearless leader, the Marvelous Iggy, is adrift this week in a cosmic sea, and so it’s up to Newsie Bry-Bry to play substitute teacher and attempt to rein-in the wily old men known as Ol’ Man Whirlyburger Jon and Tazer (Boy, does he fail hard.) In fact, the crew spend so much time talking about the first full Venom trailer, Sony’s other Spider-verse film projects, and the forthcoming Uncanny X-Men event, DISASSEMBLED, that they barely have time to sneak in a roundtable review before Jon-Jon gets abducted by aliens…! Or something like that, who can say? But cosmic adventure is the name of the game this week as the group finally has another Book of the Week to review, and it’s the return of Marvel’s First Family in Fantastic Four #1! Then, once Jon-Jon vanishes, Tazer tackles the tricky subject of death - that is, it’s tricky for him to not take so much glee in reviewing Death of the Inhumans #1 and #2! Then, Bry-Bry catches up with cosmic psychotic Frank Castle when he reviews Cosmic Ghost Rider #1 and #2 - it’s a double-dose of Donny Cates in individual reviews this week, and lest we forget to pay proper homage to Steve Ditko at the top of the show. Now, before you dive in to this week’s show, be sure to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review! Hopefully we’ll turn up with a full complement next week, but then we thought that the Fantastic Four would be fully reunited by the end of issue #1, too…

Episode #279: ...Iron Fist again, I guess?
#278, here we come you guys! Ready yourselves for...for... Eh, alright, look: a lot of stuff has happened since we last did a proper episode, so just... Hold on while we ease back into things, alright? Iggy, the Marvelous One, reunites Newsie Bry-Bry, Ol' Man Whirlyburger Jon, and infant candy thief Tazer as they tackle the biggest news since... Really, the last few weeks. Explosive topical discussion abounds as the trio talk about the firing of James Gunn from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and the larger implications of this event. Join in as the Warriors discuss the pros and cons of Disney buying-out 20th Century Fox multimedia, including reclaiming the Fantastic Four and the X-Men properties. All told, the geeky side of things is a-okay, but the actual business side of things may be... Morally questionable. Ensuing round-up conversation about Dark Phoenix, New Mutants, and even Iron Fist season 2 tilt towards vaguely positive - huzzah! Spider-Man is, amazingly, back to basics and Iggy is loving it as he reviews issues #1 and #2, Jon-Jon is pleasantly surprised by Dan Slott in Tony Stark: Iron Man #2, Tazer compares thee to a summer break-up in Cloak & Dagger #1, and Bry-Bry goes OFF in his review of Old Man Hawkeye #6. Gosh, that's a lot since last we met - but at least we're back in full force! Until next time, dear listeners! Now, though, before you go, be sure to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review! Never say we didn't give you anything!
