Episode #231: Party Over, Out of Time
Welcome, ladies, gentlemen, and artists formerly known as either, to another installment of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast! With Jon gone on walkabout, it’s up to the Marvelous Iggy, our very own Ben, and Bryan to pick up the slack and get it done this week! The two Warriors go out and party like its 1999 with the way they tackle the news this week: the final X-Men: Apocalypse trailer is railed against by Bryan, but both Bryan and Iggy are overjoyed to see that RDJ plans to welcome Spider-Man into the MCU with an appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming; the two also review the ethnic issue of casting a Caucasian female in the role of the Ancient One and the implications given by the writer of the forthcoming Doctor Strange film as to why this was, as well as news that the Punisher will be receiving his own spin-off series out of the success of season 2 of Daredevil on Netflix, and the appearance of Nathan Fillion as one Simon Williams in the forthcoming sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy. In reviews this week, two books co-headline as Book(s) of the Week with Doctor Strange #7 and All-New Wolverine #7 taking center-stage, and in individual reviews Ben goes galactic with The Ultimates #6, and Bryan goes nuts with Moon Knight #1!
